Artist's Description

Franns Vermont
Arlington, Vermont

The tree-lined winding roads of Vermont always lead somewhere beautiful. In this case it was the small community of Arlington, home to a wonderful covered bridge. At last my quest for this scene was over, and pleased to have captured such a lovely image, I was able to return home. Eventually it was released in the gallery as a print, but without a name. When Frann, the gallery consultant, who at one time lived in the east, saw it, she smiled warmly and sighed. With melancholy in her voice she said My Vermont! A name was born. -Dan McGeorge
