Artist's Description

Centre Spire
Brattleboro, Vermont

Reflecting on smooth blue water of the Connecticut River, the stately and historic steeple of Centre Congregational Church rises into the evening sky. Seen from New Hampshire, the town still holds its colonial charm. Wanting to capture it, I found a narrow opening between thick foliage on the edge of a steep cliff, high above the rivers edge. From this vantage point it was only a matter of time before an enchanting scene developed. -Dan McGeorge
