Artist's Description

Storm clouds, brooding and dark, had formed above Ocean Beach and a high tide's waves were crashing relentlessly along the rocky shore. Between the clouds and the distant horizon a strip of what looked to be open sky was visible. There was a chance the setting sun might just peek through. Time to wait. Probably a half an hour at least. And then, there it was. Bright and orange the sun fell below heavy layers of clouds, lit the horizon, briefly winked, and then slipped from view. - Dan McGeorge
