The Reason
Dan McGeorge
As a youngster I fell in love with the beautify of nature. I'd lay on my back in the cool grass and gaze through towering boughs of green leaves, into cloud-filled blue skies above. It was solace to my soul then, and it is still today. That feeling drove me to the pursuit of capturing it on film. Recently, when traveling through Northern California just south of Mount Shasta, I was thrilled to see this scene, and thought back to those boyhood moments so many years ago when such natural beauty filled me with inspiration. Truly the reason I picked up a camera to begin with. - Dan McGeorge
