Sligo, Ireland
Sometimes being lost takes one to surprising places. So it was on a drive near Sligo. Along what seemed an endless dirt road a heartwarming scene came into view. How rare and fortunate that so many wonderful elements would occur in one place under the right conditions. But animals were moving, rain was falling, and wind was blowing. Undaunted, and protected by a golf umbrella I quickly composed, waited for the right moment, and click! Only later when processing the image did I see the other cow! -Dan McGeorge
