Artist's Description
Following months of planning and a favorable weather forecast I headed to Balboa Park in the early morning. It was chilly and empty as I waited for the moment I had hoped for to arrive. Gradually the setting moon descended towards the top of the California Tower. In moon photography a double exposure is often necessary and so it was here. The result provided a satisfying moment that made the parking ticket I got for being there too early worth it!
