Artist's Description

Red Flash
Coronado, California

At the annual vintage car show in Coronado, beautifully restored vehicles inhabit the town to the delight of residents and visitors. I, too, went to view the collection, and while there recognized the perfectly soft light, which adds even more beauty to any subject. Returning to the gallery for my camera, I came back to an intriguing reflection on the fender of an unusually interesting car. Caught up in the flowing lines of the composition, I failed to note two important things. One, I have no idea the make or year of the car. The other was pointed out to me later. Within the reflection was an easily recognizable view of L Frank Baums famous Wizard of Oz House. -Dan McGeorge
