Description
It was a summer's late afternoon just outside of Joseph in northeastern Oregon. A wind-driven thunderstorm roared over the flowing meadow there near Prairie Creek and a beautiful scene unfolded. Nearing the horizon the sun cast an incredible orange glow on the clouds it struck contrasting delicately against the blue of those remaining in shadow. As I prepared to photograph it a rainbow appeared, softly glowing in the distance. Click! -Dan McGeorge
