San Diego, California
A clearing storm near sunset had created dramatic skies along the coast with crisp, clean air. The combination provided the possibility of a beautiful photograph of the San Diego skyline. As I contemplated a composition at a favorite spot a couple arrived and sat on one of the benches, snuggling up in the chill to admire the dramatic view. Quickly and quietly setting up my equipment behind them, so as not to disturb, I was able to capture this touching scene, truly a moment to treasure. -Dan McGeorge
