As sunset arrived the idea of an evening photograph faded away as the clouds from an earlier storm disappeared, leaving only clear skies, Earlier in the week a trip to Granite Basin Lake outside of Prescott ended up being so remote that the idea of a night sky opportunity in a remote area, at a high altitude, with clear skies just couldn't be overlooked. And then, to my surprise, there was the Milky Way, looking gorgeous against the blackness of the night. -Dan McGeorge
