A beautiful cloud-filled sky beckoned me to the beach late in the afternoon. The tide was low, and pounding surf was giving away to rushing shallow water as it neared the shoreline. My tide table told me another half hour would pass before complete low tide would be reached, and that would also be about sunset. When the time seemed right I positioned myself and waited for the light. As I'd hoped beautiful pink colors developed in the clouds over the hotel, reflecting its vibrant color into the rushing surf, truly creating a magical moment.
