Artist's Description

Forest in the Fog
Mount Ashland, Oregon

Just north of the California border the forests of Oregon are thick and beautiful. I've passed through the area many times, always hoping that one day something extraordinary would be taking place. At last my wish was granted as rapidly moving banks of fog were whisked along through the forest by a strong breeze. Following some obscure winding roads up into the woods I finally found the vantage point I had been looking for and was able to capture this image. The scene had such a magical feel to it as it unfolded in so many forms. -Dan McGeorge
