Artist's Description

Dawn's Early Light
Lakeside, CA

Water bottle in hand I stepped out for my brisk morning walk, but a hint of color in the sky stopped me in my tracks. Scanning the clouds above it looked likely a unique sunrise might occur. To top it off a crescent moon shone brightly in the rich blue sky above it all. I debated only briefly before abandoning my morning ritual and returning home to grab my equipment, quickly heading out to a possible vantage point. The colorful and exciting moment you see in this photograph soon developed. When others walking by commented in astonishment at the breathtaking scene, I knew I had made the right decision! -Dan McGeorge
