On the road that leads to my Jacksonville Gallery from Central Point a farm sits, its driveway lined by stands of trees. I've driven by many times, always checking, and waiting for some dramatic event to occur, turning an otherwise nice driveway into a work of art. Finally Mother Nature cooperated and fall brought out the rich red colors these trees are known for. A storm earlier in the day had shaken loose a colorful carpet of leaves along the drive, allowing for this striking image. -Dan McGeorge
