Vietnam Memorial, Washington DC
The Vietnam Memorial has a special place in the hearts of many. It is a moving place and in an effort to capture its beauty and emotional impact I traveled there in the fall and waited for a special moment. It came one Wednesday morning before sunrise as pink dawn colors created a beautiful backdrop behind the Washington Monument towering in the distance. The silence and reverence at the Wall that morning was overpowering. -Dan McGeorge
