Driving the Blossom Trail in the Eastern San Juaquin Valley I glanced in my rear view mirror at the setting sun and saw an incredible sight. I pulled over, grabbed my camera and ran across the road, through a thicket of brush to the edge of a barbed wire fence. With only seconds until the scene was gone I managed to capture it. The deep blue of a clear sky above, and golden glow of the setting sun behind a dramatic silhouette of this striking tree was all that was needed. -Dan McGeorge
