When I saw weather forecasts for clear skies in the morning in Coronado at the perfect time to photograph the full moon setting, my plans were made. In the cool morning air the moon gradually sank towards the top of Point Loma, turning ever more orange by the moment. The sun would be rising shortly, and its early glow provided just the right amount of light to brighten the point, as well as the white lighthouse sitting proudly on its crest. Every photograph should tell a story, and for me this one certainly did.
